Greek Dog Abuse2 (Jimmy Samaras)

I would just like to post this video to show the TRUE Jimmy Samaras. He has been described as `The Robin Of Stray Dogs` how ridiculous. The man is a serial animal abuser. He is a hoarder of animals to the worst degree.
He refuses to have dogs neutered and spayed or humanely euthanased, much rather preffering that they die a slow and lingering death in the greek midday sun
The video here was filmed by a greek tv company et3 and broadcast on 21st Jan 2004
When questioned about the dead and dying dogs Jimmy proceeds to smack the female reporter round the face.
He has been offered help countless times but he refuses.
He is not stable at all, the question I ask is why is he allowed to do this?
He should be prosecuted for neglect!!!

And now they are going to make a film about him? Because he was once worked in Hollywood during 50-60's as a physiotherapist to the stars. BIG DEAL

He's allowed to get away with it because he is doing the authorities a favour. Hide the eyesore of stray dogs behind fences out of sight out of mind. No welfare, no medication, no re homing, no sterilisation, no hope for these dogs but death and misery. Meantime genuine animal welfare workers are harassed and persecuted because THEY ADVERTISE the situation here as it really is and call for government action

You are right. (Frank?) because they don't have any money or any intention in helping this animals. They would rather the likes of jimmy take the animals. It doesn't matter if they are suffering and dying long slow deaths, as long as they are not on the street fir all to see that's all g that matters. Far easier this way or just simply to poison them. It will never be right which is why we must all help these beautiful creatures who never asked to be born but just want to be loved

It just infuriates me that he is portraited as a poor old man that doesnt receive any help, yet he is no better than any other animal abuser. He refuses to allow neutering&spaying unless, as they put it hes having a good day.

He is not a friend of the animals they would be far better off never knowing him.

Did you see how he leaves dead &dying dogs every where? Are they the actions of someone who cares? I think not. I just pity them poor dogs

something to solve it. Far better for them

No problems about the posts!!! I think that certainly compared to alot of other countries Greece does not have the desire to spend money on something they care very little about, ie the stray problem. They hate to think that other countries would be prepared to sacs their dogs when they couldn't care less. Doesn't make them look good. Far easier to say foreigners are exporting dogs for vivisection than actually admit they have a problem, like alot of people to admit there is a problem

That is so sad, silly question but why is he allowed to get away with it. Can't the autorities do anything? or don't they care about animal welfare?
