Yes, he is playing above the staff at 4:00 min. No he does not sound like an euphonium. Euph sound is not that big.

oh yea i cant see why a tuba cant play in tune when HE's PLAYING ABOVE THE FREAKING STAFF!!!! i didnt hear anything wrong with it, when you listen to where he was at in his range. it almost sounded like a baritone or a euphonium.
