Laurence Olivier was so beautiful, and had that majestic aura that only old film stars have.

This is the second climax of the movie--the first was in the same room. Superb dialogue, acting and psychological direction. Mrs. Danvers was eerie in the first scene--here she is menacing. They don't make movies like this any more--a classic. My sister and I used to joke 'why don't you? why don't you?"--and then we would know instantly which movie we'd be playing!
