Yeah these blobby guys are only supposed to be placeholders. I still haven't got round to designing the proper enemies but I need to do that real soon. Give me a shout if you have any ideas! :)

What kind of enemies do you want?

The game is set inside a nightmare, so the enemies will need to be SCARY, first & foremost. Also it needs to be really satisfying to kill them (eg. they explode or something). My original idea (4 years ago!) was zombies, but then zombies became a bit over-popular.

It might be best if the enemies could shoot at you. From a lighting point of view, electrical-type effects would be great. And some kind of luminance (eg. glowing eyes) would be useful so they can still be seen after the lights are destroyed.

They have human-like intelligence and awareness and work together to surround you and can use whatever weapon they find including guns. Each enemy would vary in personality and combat intellect like some would be fearful and run as you fire at them while some of them are berserk will charge at you at all costs,some will attack each other.

Cool, thanks for the ideas! Sounds really creepy what you're describing there :) Using feint eerie speech is a great idea. I'll probably want to keep the enemy behaviour really simple though, to save time.

lol wow. i tried playing this but my poor computer just cant handle the graphics and its super slow :( it looks amazing though

As for deformity, perhaps have their mouths and eyes turned into hollow black holes and although they possess human-like intelligence,

they move almost like spaz's but in a creepy way.

how about normal looking humans but when they attack you, their faces become deformed (Not bloody type deformed) and they whale out strange sounds but with agony and sometimes speak out faint sayings as if they are psychotic like "I didn't do it!" or "Stay away from my daughter!"
