I have a 1994 Buick Park Avenue with magnaflow dual exhaust camaro/firebird muffler and camaro tips and no catalytic converter just a straight pipe. It sounds good sometimes but sometimes it sounds kind of weak as if it were blowing air. The first week I had it it sounded like a true camaro but know it varies and the car is in mint condition so I dont know how to improve the sound. Should I get magnaflow cat?

@raulgomez902 Definitely should have a cat on there of some kind. 3800s don't respond as well to open pipes as other engines, they need some kind of resonator (either a cat or an actual resonator) to mellow out the sound and make it deeper and more pleasant.

how much did that set up cost i have a 98 a sound like that might make my ten yr old boy think dad has a cool car.\

Well, just the muffler by itself (Flowmaster 80 series) with the dual piping and tips cost $200 at a local exhaust shop. That'll pretty much give you all of the sound. I've got some other stuff too (MagnaFlow cat, $200, Resonator delete, $40) but they didn't really affect the sound all that much.

hey what muffler did you use for what yr camaro this thing sounds like a dang muscle car what else did you have to do to install the muffler?

Thanks man. :) I actually found out later it is a Flowmaster 80 series crossflow muffler. I also had a Magnaflow cat on at the time. It will fit any of the fourth gen F-Bodies and the H-Bodies as well.
