Kilborn Alley Blues Band - UK Tour 2011 - You Keep Me Hangin (ft Russ - Oxharp)

Recorded at the Aint Nothin But Blues Bar, Soho London on the 25 November 2011.
I had a fantastic night and got to play with the band as a guest Harmonica for a few numbers.

I have been playing harp for 5 years in May 2012 and this was the best to date for me me personally.

I think the band are just amazing and it was a real treat and honour for me to be invited up to play.

I have been a big fan of yours from a distance in the UK.

I first noticed you with Dave Barrett on YT as his student.

You have given me some great ideas about playing the biggest one is sitting down playing and I love the laid back approach your band has.

for someone who has only played for five years it sounds spot on you must have a natural feel for the instrument

I like to think I did ok for 3rd position on this one. I only wish I had taken my Bassman as I had to blow really hard to hear myself which spoilt my playing abit.

I play with more control and sound much bigger and better with the big Amp. It was too far to take it to London on a maybe sit in gig.

Nice ~ I know what it's like to play with good blues musicians & it always improves a performance playing with fellow musicians that know what they're doing. Keep up the good work. The original blues artists are leaving us; we have to continue in their footsteps...

Hubert Sumlin just died today. It's a great loss to the blues community.

@oxharp Hey oxharp nice to meet you. The sit-down thing was our bass player's concept and it works great for us. But I guess laying it back is the key to it all, sitting or standing. You got it man .. enjoyed your third pos playing..
