  • Can you tell me where you got the safety rails, and how hot do they get?

  • when the bark is falling off and the ends are checked your wood is ready. Oak may take a little longer. freashly split your wood then test your wood you will get a higher number.

  • close the damper 90% down....your letting all your heat go up your chimney.

  • hmm, that gadget would be nice to have. . . I run my stove between 300 and 500..
