This was Orion refinery, now Valero. Our company treated all the water generated from the extinguishing of this fire, very difficult to treat because of the high amount of foam in the water. The water had to be filter pressed because there was so much foam, then pocessed (treated).

2001, high winds caused the floating roof on a tank filled with gas to tilt, causing gas and vapors to be released. Lightning struck near by igniting the vapors.
