This is the relic room of the General Curia of the Capuchin Franciscan Order in Rome. Each box and each smaller reliquary contains a piece of a Capuchin Saint or Blessed - part of the great cloud of witnesses to the saving work of Christ. Taken July 2008.

  • that smaller reliquary thingie you are mentioning is called a theca (from the latin word "thecae" which means a small case)
