BGelais Metallica Gold IR Pack is available for download from the link above, it includes Impulse Responses for ALL Metallica Albums !!!!

I will be attempting to recreate 1 song from each of the Metallica albums in videos like this using BGelais's Metallica Gold Impulse Reponses Pack. And then will attempt some other bands tones on this road to tone discovery :)

I have used some plugins that are not free in this example BUT to get the tones to work using just BGelais method EVERYTHING using his method is FREE I chose to use some extra plugins mostly because I have sodding EMG pick ups which need help to achieve a Vintage Tone. Regular inexpensive Pick Ups for example Epiphone Les Paul pick ups will give you the best results.

  • My friend . : ]

    Are you busy these days?

i am waiting for your newest video

  • @neo69hk - hey HK my guitar is being setup at the moment!! can't wait to get it back!!

  • hey when i try to record my guitar using line-in at the bk of my mobo and ASIO4ALL v2 in the settings, it seems like it has weird lag or something because when i play it back it's really fast. and i cant play back using ASIO4ALL and cant record using others... and i cant hear the guitar with effects that i apply to the insert in FL through my headphones, but it seems to be applied in the playback... are you familiar with such things? really annoying, do i just need a dedicated sound card?

  • @DominikWidomski - well in a nutshell what are the pickups your guitar uses? if they are stock what make and model is your guitar?

then secondly how long is your guitar cable roughly? you want to keep it as short as possible if using passive pickups and going guitar into onboard sound line in.

Right the latency issue is easy to sort out, goto your ASIO control panel, in there locate your soundcard and set the Buffer to 128 samples :)

  • @MrBIOSkunk i have an epiphone SG stock humbuckers as far as i know (got it second hand).

    cable is 20feet :|

yeah i was able to record recently using edison, and then putting the samples in the 'timeline' then it screwed up again lol, when i playd it back it was really fast like sped up a few times, and i still had to switch between AISO and default sound drivers one for recording one for playback and i cant hear the effects (like the 'hardcore' plug in)

    thx 4 reply :)

  • @DominikWidomski I sent you a private message on youtube goto your inbox on youtube.
