I watched Prince William & Kate's wedding on TV. It was nothing as compared to Diana's wedding in 1981. Everything was so plain that there's nothing much to see. The wedding dress was so simple and plain, the bride looked like any ordinary girl. Diana was very pretty and the wedding dress was unique. She has the charisma of being the People's Princess.

@Spicelab11 A wedding isn't a marriage. Diana knew that she was marrying a man who was inlove with someone else, and couldn't get out of it because her face was on the "tea towels" (her words). Kate and William's marriage was about their love for each other and about them. Flowers, lace, trumpets and fanfare do not a marriage make.
