பொருள்: அளவில் பரந்து பருத்தனவாயும் ஒன்றோடொன்று இணையாய்க் காணப்படுவனவாயும் தளர்ச்சியின்றிச் செழித்தும் குழைந்தனவுமான கொங்கைகளாகிய மலைகளின் மீது அழகிய முத்துமாலையை அணிந்தவாறு, ஈசனின் வன்மை மிகுந்த நெஞ்சத்தைத் தாம் எண்ணியபடியெல்லாம் ஆட்டி வைக்கும் உறுதியையும் அதற்கேற்ற பேரெழிலையும் படைத்த தேவி, நல்ல பாம்பின் படத்தைப் போன்ற அல்குலையும், இனிமையான வாய்ச்சொற்களையும் வேதமாகிய சிலம்பையும் உடையவளாவாள்.
The VDO Includes both the prelude and postlude of the song Paarthavizhi from the movie Guna.
Scene Description: The hero lives in a delusional world thinking himself as lord Shiva waiting to get married to 'Abhirami' [Alter name of goddess parvathi]. His uncle for using Guna's skill of opening any lock to steal from a temple brings him to a temple on the pretext that Abhirami will come there. Guna keeps nagging him when will Abhirami come so that they can get married. His uncle in a irritated tells him showing an ongoing procession that she will come in a procession like this. Guna looks at the Procession & and thinking that the girl who is the centre of attraction is indeed 'Abhirami' falls in love immediately.

As I have always claimed that Ilaiyaraaja's songs are integral part of the movie/story and they are just the extension of his BGM , this piece proves that.

I am one of the die hard fan of ARR....but.. when it comes to soul stirring music...no one can beat IR... you are the music god... ARR pugazh fully goes to god of music IR...

Especially this song is one of my favorite and i can listen to it many times, each and everytime it jst our soul go to heaven ... KAMAL + JESUDAS + ILAYARAJA. .. a very good combination...hats off to all of u...

The lyrics from Abhirami Andhaadhi glorifies the beauty of goddess Abhirami, specifically her breasts. That's when her saree falls down and she hands out two laddus. Our mentally deranged hero construes the laddus symbolically as the goddess' breasts. (Breasts, in fact, symbolically represent the mother-aspect of the goddess, no sex-related feeling here). This was from a newspaper review by acritic when the movie was released. Kamal - the god of screenplay, take a bow!

the screenplay in this song is remarkably awesome. The hero notices the following signs that strengthens his belief that she is the one - the bell, everyone giving way for her, the signpost that flips accidentally and points to her, the cloth that flies away exposing his face to sunlight (darkness removed and enlightened) and the guard pointing in the queue's direction which is where she actually is.
