Starry Night came into our lives 3 years ago, as our first foster for Col. Potter Cairn Rescue Network. We fell in love with her immediately, and applied to adopt her, after the 2 week evaluation period. As you will see, her little body has endured a lot, after living the first 5 years of her life producing puppies over and over in a puppy mill. I fear to think what her life would have been like, if she hadn't been rescued from the puppy mill. She is my little shining "Star!"

The transformation form scared puppy mill girl to confident, sassy Princess is phenomenal! Starry is an ambassador for how great rescue dogs are in general, and Cairns in particular! You can see in her eyes she knows how lucky she is! Enjoy every minute with this special girl!

What a beautiful video, and beautiful folks you are to give such a wonderful home to these dogs. Thank God there are people out there like you! It just breaks my heart to see how some of these breeders treat their dogs, and that many end up in situations such as this. Thank you again for the kind loving hearts you give to these precious animals! It just makes me ill to think of the poor darlings out there that are not as fortunate as yours have been.

Thank you for your kind words. We just love these little puppy mill mommas and enjoy fostering them, so they can become beloved pets. Our most recent mill momma went to her forever home yesterday. It is so hard to see them in such terrible shape, both emotionally and physically, but thank God the Cairn spirit always finds a way to shine through!
