how was del piero better? Totti has better stats than del piero in serie a and italy. Totti in euro 2000 alone gave del piero 3 chances right in front of net, and he missed them. I love del piero, love totti more though. I am a rome fan,. and don't bring up the champion's league that del piero has over totti. Juventus has far more money to invest in a full team than rom. Totti has single handedly brought a middle rate team to the heights of serie a and one of the top teams in europe.

But arguing del piero or totti best italian player ever is a stupid argument becaue baggio is the best italian player ever, one of the best Ever players in world football . Pirlo is up there with totti and del piero, i would argue he is better from his perfomances in major games, he shows up more.
