I wasn't into Rush by this time, especially beacuse a lot of it, this song included, was descendant of mature New Wave and Pop 80s elements. BUT, that main verse riff almost presages a lot of 3 Doors Down.

At this point Rush are outrageously conspicuous by their absence from the Hall of Fame...it it fitting and perfect, as it should be. It makes the entire Hall a laughable entity. The Hall, in trying to bury their heads in the sand, have given Rush even more strength and power than could have otherwise been possible. Thank you RR Hall of Fame...

Personally I don't give a shit that Rush are not in the rock and roll hall of fame, WHO CARES what a couple journalists think! Not being part of this meaningless, over-rated, mainstream institution is completely natural for a band like Rush. Rush and the mainstream are related but separate, let's keep it that way!
