This my first very simple home made solar mirror, which is made from offset satellite aerial with decor foil. It heats my home made made tin can stirling engine, drives a generator and makes electricity for mp3 player.

Check out your satellite dish, but instead put a stirling in the middle and reflectors on the dish.

How much heat is needed to run the engine? Would a large magnifing lens work?
