It's too easy to do the right thing. Both parties should just FOLLOW THE RULES! Then we wouldn't be having this problem. Remember kindergarten, "share and take your turn." It's too easy!

@mrbawm , Way to generalize! SOME Motorists blow through lights and park where they should not (bike lane), but not all. Just as with some cyclists, some motorists simply don't think laws apply to them, but most DO! So before you go and criticize cyclists have a long look at your fellow motorists and you'll see the same problems your laying at cyclists feet looking back at you.

I'm a cabbie who cycles to and from work. When I'm riding my bike yellow cabs are the safest cars to be next to. They don't make abrupt turns and twists. Cyclists though ride through any lane they want whenever they want however they want. They put cars in uncomfortable situations knowing they won't hit them.

Let the Ohio immigrants GO BACK HOME. The cyclists are a fucking menace. They want to be treated like vehicles when it's convenient and they want to blow through red lights and ride on the wrong side of the road and be essentially treated like pedestrians when that's convenient.

The first 30 secs were just "get out of my way".

Strange (though to be expected) that cars "obey the rules", and "are faster than" and so on... makes it sound like the cyclists fault when things go wrong. It may even be the case, but telling cyclists to "be careful" is kinda backwards. Cyclists SHOULD obey the law, but the ones who really need to "be careful" are those driving 2 tons of steel.

Some well made comments from the elderly black guy, though I wonder WHY he's had that treatment.
