How To Camera Tricks (Time Lapse):
Hey everybody, I'm Najum and I'm here to show you a really cool camera trick today. Now have you ever seen a movie where they have a really cool time-lapse sequence where someone is moving about in a room to show passage of time but the camera never cuts. Well today I'm here to show you exactly how to do that. So in order to do this really cool shot, you're going to need a couple of things. You're going to need a camera, a tripod or anything that you can put the camera on that's going to be stable and not shake or move and you're going to need a solid background. Now this could be, it could be outside of your house, anywhere but the key for the background is that it cannot move. If it changes in any way, its going to throw the shot off and its not going to look great. Alright. So lets get started. First things first. Go on ahead and set your camera up. You want to make sure its on a stable surface if you don't have a tripod. So now that your camera is all set up, go on ahead and get in your first position. Go on ahead and stay in that position for about a good 10 to 15 seconds. After that go ahead and change to a different position and so forth until you have completed your time lapse. Alright now that you done filming, its time to get down to some editing. Now what you want to do is take your clip and go on ahead and cut out all the parts where you actually physically changing position. With those clips out of there, all that you're left is you and all your different positions. Now what you want to do is add a small cross fade in between all of them and what should be happening is your background will stay the same and only you will fade in and out into different positions. And there you have it. You got your very own time lapse. Get out there and try some more tricks and stay tuned for some more how to videos.
Hi, nice video, people should make more of these kind of videos, cause it's often the simplest trick that looks best. :-) And when you can handle that, it time to do more complex stuff. :-)
