why are you welding sway bar? took both mine off the first day I went wheeling just wondering not trying to be a ass
yumaharleyrider 1 month ago
@yumaharleyrider We're not welding, we're cutting off what was left after it sheared. I don't usually go "wheeling", I prefer "overlanding" such as the long trips I have taken to CO, NC, MO, ID, NV, and UT. On trips like that, I log a lot of road driving (pavement, gravel, dirt, etc.), so not having an anti-sway bar makes driving at higher speeds really wonky. That's why I got JKS Quicker Disconnects to disconnect the bar when off-road. I just didn't do it this weekend and paid for it.

Where did you get the front bumper at? I am assuming its custom. I just joined trailvoy and saw you on there too. I am having a hard time finding a road armor style bumper for my 03' tb

@powerwashpros Its a FabFours bumper for the Toyota FJ, custom mounted of course. You can get the full story on the X88 expeditions blog.
I think there are currently 2 manufacturers of Trailblazer-specific bumpers. There should be information for both on Trailvoy.
