  • Nice posting, Jim. We used to live in Elizabeth, so I know the Black Forest area well. Now live near Salida, which isn't too shabby either. Best Wishes.

  • @jdlngwll You should be interested in the church with the mountains in the background, that's just a short distance down the wet valley from Salida in Westcliffe. Jim

  • The yellow plane at 3:55 is just so cute and adorable. What is it?

  • @proudyke That's a Piper Cub, one of the most famous of all light airplanes, over 10,000 of them built from 1936 to about 1950. I made my first solo flight in one on my 16th birthday in 1944. I also wrote a book about delivering one. Check YouTube for THE FLIGHT OF THE TEMPORAL CUB

  • Jim - This is one of my favorite songs by John. You two shared a passion for flying! Thanks for posting this and giving us a glimpse of you and your beautiful wife. You might like to post a trackback link in the description above to your site so others can find you easier!

  • @pandachickenmama Sorry but I don't know what a trackback link is.

  • This is such a beautiful video!

  • Thanks Jim; I'll check it out next time I'm over near Westcliff. I found your YouTube posting via VanDwellers - which I find to be a fascinating group ever though I'm only an occasional "van dweller". JD
