5870 strip down (part 7)

Quick review of the Zalman LQ and Radeon 5870 Mod project (Part 6)
For those of you who might ask why is this man so crazy to do the radical mods on his BRAND NEW Radeon 5870.

Well I am building the system of my dreams, which includes the Zalman LQ 1000 case.
I have fallen in love with the case, and compared to anything else I have seen (I think I must have seen them all) I can't find a case I like better.

I almost went with at 5850 dual card soluton, but then I thought, no if I am going to do SLI, I am going to figure out a way of doing it with the 5870s. Believe me it was an agonising decision I have posted on several forums seeking advice, but no one had the experience yet with this sort of mod.

So that is why I have done this, to see if it could be done, and what would have to happen to "make it so" having gone "Where no man has gone before".

man you are my hero... i was following all the process of ATI radeon HP5870 strip down, because i have one...and i was just as nervous as you (i suppose) well is a 400 dollars card and your job was just master, for sure you love a lot your case lolol, you had already good times with her just to change it because a "fancy video card"--lol that was awesome!! please sub me back, i have a music studio with some original music, feel free to visit us, cheers my friend

If it can't accept a GPU without mods there's no point in it being "bad". I have a HAF932 and I'm sure it would take that card.
