No, Amar'e came into the league with 20/400 vision.
He didn't wear them when he was a rookie because he was too proud, but then that detatched retina made him get some lasik, and now he HAS to wear glasses or else an eye poke will end his career.
Btw, he better be able to spell Kelena's name now because they're teammates
