i have to infinitly thank both congressmen for being level-headed and presenting their proposals with intelligence and dignity. THIS is how our government should handle an issue, being cooperative and listening to both sides. That's right Weiner,it's all about the public plan, or the game plan 1:25, because to save money in government spending means more in government to spend on upgrading infrastructures,laws,services,­structures and to pay off the national debt. It also could mean less need to tax the people or involve in risky deals, which government have been known to do in desperation for profit. @gofurit23 true, government cannot solve many problems with the state its in right now. its gotten to the point where the government is a bureaucracy, filled with selfish politicians who dont actually work for the public good. if you look at many other developed nations, their healthcare systems are socialized and superior to the US. healthcare is a oligopoly right now, like oil, impossible to lower prices if all are in it together to raise rates.

they need to stop playing politics and start actually working. I've lost hope that the public option that will actually work will end up in any form of this bill. Right now the public option is going to do nothing to create competition simply because it will cost the same amount as private insurance. they need to bring it back to the original version of the public option and stop letting the insurance companies control the fate of this bill.
