Minnesota State High School Hockey

Growing up in Minnesota, every kid dreams of making it to the State High School Hockey Tournament. Most say its their single greatest sports memory. You get to miss school, be on TV and if you are lucky, play in front of 18,000 fans for a chance to be called a Champion.

One of the great traditions is the announcing of each teams rosters. These young men prepare for this exact moment. Some teams all dye their hair, some shave their heads, and some have Mohawks. You brush your teeth, practice your smile, comb your hair and figure out what you are going to say to the camera for all to hear. If you are cool enough, you say Hi Mom!

This kid went a totally different route!
