I bought a record one time that was warped so I thought I'll throw it in the oven on low heat and take it out and press it under a huge stack of records to even it out... apparently it doesn't take much heat to melt a vinyl.. they get soft at even a tiny amount of heat and I f'ed up my record., its ok it was a simpsons scratch album POS anyway
