The bride looks stunning, elegant and classy, not like the greek weddings in australia oh my god the dresses I think they compete to wear the biggest explosion of tulle that you have every seen , yuk. Your wedding made very enjoyable viewing good luck to you both

en las bodas ortodoxas primero entran el la iglesia el sacerdote llevando a los novios de la mano y despues los invitados y no se pone musica nupcial ,que no es tradicion ,esto parece una mala copia de una boda catolica ,estan destrosando la tradicion ortodoxa en philadelfhia

In Greece we don t throw sugared almonds in the church! We serve them as "boubounieres" on the door of the church, just after the wedding!

Yes, we do throw rice outside. Boubounieres are given at the reception. You obviously experienced a wedding in the "Old Country". What part of Greece where you when you attended? My family is from Ithaki.

My family is from Kefalonia, which is a little south of Ithaki.

Ahh, Kefalonia, very nice. I travelled via Argostoli airport or Patras to Sami then onto Vathi, Ithaki with the boat.
Nice islands, we are neighbors. How I long to go back, will be a few years as the children are still young.
