John certainly loved Evangeline... I mean the poor woman tried to pull away so many times from him, to prevent herself from getting hurt. But he wouldn't let her. He loved her deeply but was too scarred to articulate the wods "I Love You", so he said them and demonstrated so many different ways. If REG does come back, I wouldn't want for her to rush back into a JOVAN, CRAVE or TANGELINE story line... but rather have her slowly build back what she once had with John. That would be ideal.
