Mass Effect 3 - Kinect Demonstration

Skeptical about how Mass Effect 3 will utilize the Xbox 360 Kinect? See the Kinect in action as Nick Clifford from Bioware shows IGN the ropes of using Commander Shepard's voice commands. By utilizing the Kinect microphone, players will be able to issue commands to squadmates, activate powers, and even do simple actions like have Shepard open chest & pick up items. Excited? You'll get to try it out when Mass Effect 3 is released on Xbox 360 on 3/6/12. ME3 will also be coming to PS3 and PC.

This looks really good, buying kinect just for this. The response time seems a bit slow when using your voice but you do save a lot more time than pausing and giving commands. I think they could maybe improve on this a bit more with future games but this is a step forward for improving game-play.

Bioware, why can't you incorporate voice commands into the standard xbox live headset? Thanks for selling out your fans so they have to buy the kinect to use this capability!

@masashikubo0 Because they're douchebags who'd rather bash something designed to improve their gaming experience instead of just ignoring it. If they're so much against this I honestly don't know why the fuck are they here complaining of how bad it is, giving newcomers to gaming a bad impression. Whatever, I would get a kinect if I had the cash, guess I'll just have to stick to regular gameplay.

looks awesome! i have played mass effect 2 before, but this looks much better and i have kinect so i can use the kinect functions
