Maverick has a different system. This one is old from 1997 and has not really changed since then. There is also another system, invented by Rapid Launch that is on a couple other seaplane PPC's. They all hold the wing up but have different ways to do it.

This is the same type of system they use for the Maverick Flying Car.

Great concept! I'd be interested in that Paramast wing holding device even for my land PPC!
