This documentary was created on March 15, 2006 by Paige Derrick, Craig Wheatley, Annie Watson and Monica Floyd for Ms. Gretchen Altman's Education 224 class at Newberry College.
The video historically depicts public schools during segregation and the effects of integration that soon followed. The script was written from true accounts and is not meant to be offensive to any viewers. The students were just doing their best to depict what truly happened in some schools not that long ago.
Background music was used from Harry Gregson-Williams' soundtrack from The Chronicles of Narnia, Rod Stewart's song "Faith of the Heart," and The Disney movie, The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Golly that was long time ago. I remember we were all trying not to laugh when we were walking down the hall! It was and still is very powerful!
