yea they definatley are alot better but i think it's alot of the trainers too like joel keisner is really good. but the thing is (especially with junior horses) is that when you are asking them to go forward, like in english, they are giving it all the froward motion they have to it's harder for them to go with out breaking.
I like this years junior horses better then 2006. These guys are much steadier. When watched the 2006 U.S. english pleasure final I saw alot of horses that were breaking and moving around in there bridle alot. Sometimes I think we get so caught up in brilliance and animation that we forget steadiness and behavior are important to.I have country ples gelding that i'm having to teach that he can't just blow through and that he has to listen, it isn't called a pleasure class for nothing
