Betty Evans-Jacas, a Lambeth councillor, recently defected from Labour to the Tories after she was deselected by her local party in Brixton Hill ward. This single act has given the Tories led by the notorious rabble-rouser Brian Coleman a working majority on the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority (LFEPA). By law, the composition of LFEPA must reflect the balance of the parties across London. Yet, Evans-Jacas has not resigned her position on LFEPA, and neither has she committed to standing down in Brixton Hill and fighting a by-election as a Tory. This, despite the fact that very few people in Brixton Hill voted Tory. Here, she is doorstepped by a Fire Brigades Union official.

  • i'd love to fuck her, she's soooo sexy. that wanker from the fbu is a wanker and a communist twat. leave betty alone cos i want to take her in the bull dog position.

  • I didn´t realise that was possible. To defect from one party to another without being voted in.

  • Nice one Paul, a future leader of the FBU i hope

  • Well done Paul - So lovely to see that the political power given to elected (in her current case unelected) members within the fire Authority is matched by their accountability. Mark Thomas has competition at last!
