A drive through the Perthshire countryside, travelling from Harrietfield (north west of Perth) to the Fortingall Yew.

The journey begins on the B8063, passing through Glen Almond; turning north onto the A822 through Amulree then taking the left fork onto the A826, stopping at Aberfeldy. Next, a look around the Croft Moraig stone circle followed by the eastern shore of Loch Tay near Dunkeld, ending up at The Fortingall Yew - the most ancient tree in Europe - estimated to be around 4,000 years old.

  • Thanks for sharing this video. I want to use some of these places in a series I am working on using ancient Scotland as a setting. Loved the music too. It added so much to the atmosphere.
