I have a problem - 3 out of 4 quilts I,ve made have fallen apart in the washer the first time. I pre wash the fabric, use cotton and use a quarter inch seam. Do you have any idea why this is happening? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, Thanks very much. Love the tutorials!

Thanks so much for your question and feedback RosietheBear300! Oftentimes the fabric you start with will look good, but actually be an inferior product. Make sure you choose carefully if you are buying fabric from Chain Stores or Big Box Stores(usually the specialty quilting shops will have higher quality fabric). It will cost you a little more for the nicer fabric, but these quilts you are making are real treasures! Also wash with a mild detergent, cold water, and on a gentle cycle.

Hi, enjoyed watching this clip and love all the fabrics and ribbons in the background and also like your iron. Can I ask where you bought it from? Thank you.

So glad you are enjoying this tutorial Shellefen75! The iron is actually called the Oliso Pro with iTouch. Hopefully one of your local fabric stores carries it. If not, you can probably find it through a retailer online. Hope that helps!
