Ever jumped straight into one of those cool looking, dart-like kayaks? The playboats? Or those long and slim sea puppies? Ever fallen out as quick as you hopped in 'cause you've never kayaked before? Don't let it discourage you: just like surfing in kayaking you have to start by getting a handle on the basics. That'd be balance, people. So the good folk at Roman have teamed with Dragonfly Innovations to bring to Australasia a range of starter kayaks aimed at getting more people into the sport. Now even the most wicked paddler should agree that's a good thing. And so too then, are these boats...

  • I just ordered the fishing kayak after much research into lower priced fishing kayaks. You can get these in the USA from Amazon for a great price. Lifetime Products is the company that makes/imports/distributes these kayaks in the US.

They also sell a motor/battery mount for it, but it is pricey. No sails or rudders are offered for the Fisher Kayak, contrary to the guy commenting in the video's claim.

  • @HiWay69s They are made from high density polyethylene. The same plastic many other kayak companies use, even the big names. The company that makes these also makes tables, storage units and basketball backboards that sit outside for a decade or more and never get brittle.

  • The sport fisher is a great kayak for beginners who want a stable platform to fish from. Known in Australia as Angler 3.0 and comes in camo style colours.

  • cheap ass plastic will deterioate in a couple of yrs

  • @militol fishing was the same first thought I had in mind before I ordered mine..well honestly, the design on where they placed the fishing rod holder was a bad idea. only if your not anchored and stationary. it is placed in between your legs and with a pole in place makes it difficult to row. however I figured out if you angle your fishing pole in a 45 degree slant inside the carrying handle thats on the side, you can troll some bait behind you as you row. Overall It is a great summer toy..:)

  • I bought one of these from walmart.com for about $225.00 and have taken it out all summer long from fishing in it to a 4 hour round trip. Even took down some mini rapids, Its the first Ive owned and ppl. with "real" kayaks have tried mine out and they were impressed as well. I reccommend this as an awesome first time owner of a way to cruise the riverbank!.. 5 stars baby! *****

  • @romys2097 hAHHA im getting the green 1 but its yellow exact same tho

    Thanks.
