Buddhist ceremonies were held Nov. 28 in many Cambodian American communities in the US, including Washington DC, Lowell MA and San Jose CA. Mourners prayed and made donations to support families of the deceased and injured. More than 350 died and nearly 400 others were injured at the end of the Water Festival in Phnom Penh on Nov 22.
