Guess you never heard of "Mother of the Blues" Ma Rainey, or Sister Rosetta Tharpe, or Memphis Minnie, Bessie Smith, Bea Booze, or Big Mama Thornton, or any of the hundreds of women that pioneered and dominated the blues scene back in the day...many of these females wrote music that later became rock'n'roll standards (usually covered by male artists).

If you do get the chance to see Ana, you'll be glad you did. She looks better in person than in this video (she smells great too), and she's a really nice lady. Bad audio in this clip, but you get the gist of it.
