I miss hand drawn animation, the level of detail, the fluid movement,.....it's flaws!!! That is what I love about this anime, and many up to 1999. Sure CPU's can now allow animes to come out faster, and have amazing special effects, but detail, motion, the "SOUL", is no longer there! Sadly I rarely watch animes after 1999, just read mangas. Hand Drawn animation is slowly and "SURELY" becoming a dying art!!! And it makes me love this anime with it's level of detail all the more!!!!!!!!

I still remember an Interview given by the creators of Disneys animated film "The Lion King" back in 1994. They stated that their work marked an unprescedented breakthrough in animation... I laughed when they managed to find out that Macross Plus was beyond their reach. Both Graphically and Musically.
