Only the last part of this I'm afraid, but this piece from the Carling Family swings so magnificently it must be heard. Particularly foot tapping offerings from Gerd's piano, Ulf's drums and Gunhilde's powerful trombone, here are a classic couple of minutes of pure jazz. Recorded at the Stockamollan Jazz Festival in Sweden in June 2007.

  • Thanks! Had a mental block when I was transcribing this and could not recall the title. And regret that I only managed to get the camera working halfway through their piece.

  • @harcondon the new definition of jazz? They are playing dixieland, which was the beginning of jazz. Maybe by new you meant 100 years old.
