Olivia sits outside of her former house when Mallet comes and sits with her. They catch up and marvel at how dull their lives are. He wants to help Rafe, he says, asking if he can go inside and look around. They go in. She points out that Rafe never actually lived there. Mallet finds Gus' old hat. He asks her if she's heard from Natalia. "I'm not their keeper. I don't even like them," she reminds him. She rolls her eyes and tells him to drive her home.

Jeffrey is calling around, still trying to get out of his hospital room. Doris sticks her head in, telling him that his office has been declared a crime scene and he can't get in. After she leaves, he tries to get out of bed but starts to gasp and falls back.

Jeffrey gets down to the station and tracks Mallet down so they can get to work on the case.
