hey sean man thats looks complicated. u think it would be easier to get a computer program to keep track of log book activites. or is mandatory to do it on paper.

If you're at a shipper or receiver and are basically at your 11 or 14 hour limit what do you do? Let them unload and hope they're fast or say sorry and find a place to shut down for 10 hours? It's kind of hard knowing which is worse... pissing off the customer or not breaking the rules. (wanna-be trucker here)

@cskillet2003 Well normally you make previsions to not show up close to the end of your hrs, that you figure out in preplanning your trip. however things like traffic congestion ect can affect that. You do your best to have it done before, if not, about the only thing you can do is wait. rarely will a coustomer have place/let you rest on their property, so you'll have to go to the first safe place to park.

is off duty and sleeper berth considered to be the same

No. Off duty can be anywhere, doing anything but work. Sleeper has to be in the bunk getting rest
