  • Are you guys only in the States? I live in Canada.

  • Nope, we have listings from shelters in Canada too.

  • Oh cool! But what about your website? If you put in Calgary, AB for your location, it gives you listings for pets in the states!

  • Make sure your search is not too specific. There may not be an exact match near you, and that's why you're getting US listings. But we have lots of shelters in Calgary so if you do a more general search you'll see lots of results.

  • Very solid advice. I liked the stress on talking to the shelter assistants. They know the cats really well. For example, I do adoptions for an operation that specializes on feral cats and has a much smaller shelter presence. Right now, we only have about 15-20 cats and kittens, and the "cuddlers" and I know all of them personally. It's more than just play/affectionate. Each cat has a distinct personality. Go for older kittens and adults. You know just what you're going to get!

  • Love you Pet Finders!!!!!

  • How much is Linus?

  • @dgmkerry444 When I type in Toronto it gave cities in canada I never heard of.

  • @NoahsKingdom they do need SOME fresh air/to get active/go around.

ours are healthy and they go out mostly every day...they are inside most of the time though, of course.

  • Please remember to keep your cat INDOORS ONLY as they will live a longer and healthier life.

  • PetFinders lists wonderful groups, many of whom we have supported through our fundraising organization. Check out our videos featuring some of the success stories.

  • 1:30 DENIED!!!

  • I find, though Tuxes are sweet natured...they like to be alone. An Oriental, Tabby, or little gray are a lot more social with other pets...if your dog'a a big baby, you might hear a lot of hissing from a Tux saying,"I'm not playing with you...I want to be left alone".
