  • "Skinny Minnie" is a cover of a cover. The Mummies are doing the version by The Sonics, a garage rock band which recorded the song in the mid 1960s. The song was written and originally recorded by Bill Haley and the Comets in 1958 on Decca Records on the Bill Haley's Chicks album. The record reached no. 22 on Billboard for Bill Haley in 1958. Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin also recorded "Skinny Minnie" in 1964 as part of the British rock band Carter Lewis and the Southerners.

  • So was that Frankenstein that came in from the side and humped the lead singer Mummy over his keyboard?

  • Here come the MUMMIES live DVD!!
