That penalty kill was great. The Red Wings are lucky to have someone like Darren Helm that never gives up on the play to make a excelant play.

Here's an interesting thought: If the schedule hadn't been bumped, if Malkin had been suspended, and if the refs had called an icing and a too many men, would the Wings have won?

The fact that Detroit got that close to a Cup is remarkable because of the 16 playoff teams, only Calgary gave up more goals.
Normally, such a leaky defense would mean an early playoff exit.
