Excerpt from Ken Ham's presentation on the crucial topics covered in "Already Gone" - Recorded live at Grove Avenue Baptist Church, Richmond, VA.

If you look around in your church today, two-thirds of the young people who are sitting among us have already left in their hearts; soon they will be gone for good.
This is the alarming conclusion from a study Answers in Genesis commissioned from America's Research Group, led by respected researcher Britt Beemer. The results may unnerve you - they may shake long-held assumptions to the core - but these results need to be taken seriously by the church. Already Gone reveals:

• Why America's churches have lost an entire generation of believers
• The views of 1,000 twenty-somethings, solidly raised in the church but no longer attending - and their reasons why
• Relevant statistical data effectively teamed with powerful apologetics

The study found that we are losing our kids in elementary, middle school, and high school rather than college, and the "Sunday school syndrome" is contributing to the epidemic, rather than helping alleviate it. This is an alarming wake-up call for the church, showing how our programs and our approaches to Christian education are failing...and our children are paying the price. Though the statistics reveal a huge disconnect taking place between our children and their church experience, Already Gone shows how to fight back for our families, our churches, and our world. We can make a difference today that will affect the statistics of tomorrow in a positive and Christ-focused way!

Ken Ham is the founder of Answers in Genesis-U.S., the president of the Creation Museum, and a popular Christian speaker. He is the author or co-author of many books, and is heard daily on the radio program, "Answers...with Ken Ham," on more than 300 stations worldwide.

  • I thought the same way RUKEAL did. We are obviously going to get worse as prophesied in Matthew 24:3-14. Why are so many preachers worrying that these things are coming to pass? I can think of one reason though. We do need to kickstart revivial again in our day as I truly believe there will be one more big push before the harpazo (the rapture). Revival has actually started in my heart and the hearts of many other Christians and churches here in Canada. So, let's go bro's and sis's in Christ.

  • @carlsm95 The Scriptures themselves are divisive. There is no science that can prove the age of the earth. It requires faith in the Word of God.

  • Obuma isnt even a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN, he's a DUAL citizen making him INELIGIBLE for POTUS... When JUSTICE prevails, he'll be CONVICTED OF FRAUD & TREASON.

WE ARE A CHRISTIAN NATION, no matter what the ELITISTS, ATHEISTS, NWO ESTABLISHMENT says. GOD HELP US in the USA.

  • I don't agree with Ken Ham and his reasoning is very weak. He also needs to get some of his facts straight. The promotion of a young-earth only serves to divide the Church and open it up for ridicule by non-Christians. It also confuses kids about what to to believe, and makes them feel like they have to choose the Bible or *proven* science. There are MANY ways an old earth can be reconciled with Biblical teachings. Young-earth creationism may seem more straightforward but its just divisive.

  • Strange that everybody worries about these kind of things when they are clearly prophesied in the Bible. Life is not meant to be getting better and we aren't meant to be 'fixing' the situation - this is the end of the age - all these things are meant to be happening as we live through the birth pangs of the coming of the end. This is part of what Jesus called the 'Great Falling Away'.

  • Um. Bad choice of Ken to choose NIV as reference. It has contradictions in it, as well as omissions and major changes. It is not the textus receptus. The embracing of the NIV is one of the warts on AIG. I love their science articles though, have a few seminars on DVD, and appreciate some of the video on demand flickers. Ken used to stick to KJV.

  • it keeps stopping at 4:08
