@VenomShock i dont know how you think this film was intelligent, maybe you're easily pleased. spiderman 2, even know it wasnt 100% true to the comics it was a damn good film and when you compare it to spiderman 3 SM3 looks like dogshit.

@MetallicaMadMan666 This film was intelligent. They reversed the roles of the usual comic book movie. The villain (Sandman) was sympathetic and the hero was unsympathetic. On top of that, they made Venom/Eddie Brock a sort of dark mirror for Peter so that the end was more Peter fighting his darkside than the comic version. It works. That action scene is one of many. Look at the final one, look at the Sandman/Blk Spidey one. Amazing.

This was a genuinely well made movie. And the acting works.

@VenomShock JUST NITPICKS!!! in what universe is incorrect characters, crap screenplay, poor acting and bad action sequences "just nitpicks"?Yeah i admit the sandman CG was pretty good but the action sequence between peter and harry at the start of the film looks terrible but i seriously cant see how you think tobey's performance in this film was good. @MetallicaMadMan666 See? Those are just nitpicks. Plus just a few generic examples of what makes a movie bad without explaining how they pertain to the movie. The acting was actually very well done, particularly from Tobey who pulled off the self-righteous behavior quite well, even before getting the black suit. The action sequences in this movie are highly regarded even by haters, don't even. It is incredible. The screenplay/portrayal of Venom work well together. Bad CG? Birth of Sandman scene.

@VenomShock after harry stops sandman from crushing peter they exchange some cheesy dialouge like "looks like i got here in time" "a few moments ago wouldnt have been so bad either" like seriously, they guy was just nearly killed and now he's joking about it. I dont even know where to start about the scenes were peters dancing in the streets.To sum up, poor acting, bad action sequences, awful screenplay, incorrect characters, bad CGI, crap ending = a truly shit film

@VenomShock man the film is called spiderman 3 yet it is way far of the spiderman character that marvel comics created. The character of sandman in this film was nothing like the actual spiderman character in the comics. The directors decision to turn peter parker into an emo because of the symbiote was just bizzare. The acting was poor, the film had serious pacing problems and it was so damn cheesy and stupid, for example...

@MetallicaMadMan666 No, it was actually legitimately good. There was actual intuition that went in to making it. Compare this other superhero films like the original X-Men Trilogy, The Hulk Movies, Blade Trilogy, Thor, Green Lantern, you'll see how they all pale in comparison.

There are a bunch of fanboy nitpicks for this movie, but none of those detract from the film's actually very good quality. I actually judge films by artistic merit, maybe you should too before calling a movie/taste bad.
