sir , what ph should the normal water i use be ? , i tested mine and its 7ph , but ive been told it should b more like 6 or 5.5 ph ... is it bad if ive been useing 7ph water ? should i switch to lower or would that b bad now that its allredy be geting 7 . maybe thats y my tomatos died :(

Mine is 6.9 so o worries a PH of 7 is excellent could ot ask for better! Unless you use an R.O. Machine as I do then you get a bit more control of the water base!

Im gettin ready to go organic, im dont with feeding my plants nothin but chemicals, starting to get all my ingredients together for the mix, gonna go tlo put everything in the soil from the start and try to feed only with homemade teas.

No just LAB Tests have supported and even completed soiliss base foods that come in that mix you use from A- Z and some soils have been successfull in that respect usually on fast flips with sea of green type grows. Really advaned growers can make soils and teas this said if your at that level you should share thatv knoledge for making organics is the new guru typy stuff, LOL

@ESmokeDog I think when in doubt id go to the water fill machines outside the grocery stores and use that. It's always a very high quality RO water.

@ArizonaMMJ No,the run i just got done with i only used ph water at 6.3 to 6.6 and still the plants have the same problem????That's why i didn't use any nutrients just to see if the food was the problem and it seems to be something to do with the water,i think..I scrub it with a britta fillter only cause the ppm's start out of the tap at 300 and a ph of 7.0,after filltering ph 5.5 ppm's 250.So its takein out something im not givein it would be my next guess what do you think???

so where should your ppm read using the other ppm/tds for the water. basicly what im saying is if i use the other tds meter which is used for water purity testing and test your nutrients where should it read around. please help

Im useing oceanforest foxfarm soil,and the hole foxfarm feed line.My question is i have steady kept a 6.5 watering or feeding the hole grow,and the ph of my runoff droped to like 4.7,why does this keep happening?When i ph my water or nutrients im useing the GH ph up or down is this one of my problems?I water really good inbetween feedings so the nutrients don't bulid up and this problem still will not go away.So i did ph some water to 6.5 and ran 37gals through a 3 gal. pot and still low 5.9????

when growing in a good soil mix you shouldnt need to use ph up or down.
