More rants like this dude! Fuck hollywood. That's why I stick to small/ indie/ old films.

@JorgeZelayanndia If I was feeling kind a 4/5, it just seemed very dull and didn't have much direction, but it looked beautiful and I loved all the parts where they were re-telling Ben Kingsley's story. I get what you're saying about the colours, 3D makes a lot of things darker and washes out the colours a lot. It's usually worst on post-converted films. Films that are shot in 3D usually circumnavigate that problem, some how.

Yeah.... to creep people out, eh, Ben? ;)

HD and Blu Ray progression but 3D is a gimmick. What will be next??

I agree with your thoughts on 3D, Hugo had a really good use of 3D..but i had to see it in regular 2D..and i loved it more...for me the 3D takes away the beautiful color that the film has.. it was beautiful. what would you give hugo?
It's a display setting for crying out loud, it's neither an artform nor a gimmick.

@Doomsfall On the surface it might appear so, but it's the application which I am talking about. Is it used for artistic purposes or just as a gimmick to make extra money?
