"Green Path North" Interview with H. David Nahai

Sherry Beall is joined with April Sall, Chair of the California Desert Coalition, as well as H. David Nahai, CEO of Los Angeles' Department of Water and Power, to discuss the LA DWPs proposed Green Path North project. This 'Green Path North' would put up a transmission tower route through the high desert amending the California Desert Conservation Area Plan. It would allow a new 2-to-5 mile wide energy corridor through environmentally sensitive conservation lands and desert communities from Desert Hot Springs, through the high desert, and culminating in Hesperia. Miles of pristine desert and breathtaking views would be lost to multiple unsightly energy projects.
