  • @usaf317 Do you have an education? Do you understand the term "population explosion" and it's implications? if so, then your words are empty. Come to Africa, and see the devastation under your onion-domed ivory tower.

  • @akrifasouth well i am not celibate or monastic......and i say if you dont want a kid dont have sex. its simple..the stork does not bring children.

  • akrifasouth raises a point that is worthy of being addressed. Christians believe in Divine Providence, and in marriages that exist with Divine Blessing, as a sacrament, there comes forth provision sufficient for the needs of the family. Consider the lillies and the sparrows, Jesus taught. The problem with the world is not over-population but we exist outside of the beatitude of God by our alienation from Him.

  • They say it, but do they really, really believe it? I find it hard to believe that a priest would be so selfish as to think that an over-populated Third World country needs more mouths to feed. Contraception is often the most un-selfish thing a person can do. Why is it that it is always the celibate and the monastic who call for the rest of the world to be like themselves. I find ths to be far more selfish.

  • @NBAGOATS Orthodox Christians are not Roman Catholics. Fairly clear distinction both historically as well as traditionally. Before making such comments, one should have some grasp on what they are speaking of. Did you watch or listen to this video in its entirety?

  • Axios!

  • Eis polla eti despota!

  • Well said; Children are a Blessing.
